This figure-8 dual-diaphragm capsule features a double-sided gold-sputtered large diaphragm, offering balanced front and rear pickup with excellent side rejection. Ideal for studio vocals, ensemble recording, and stereo miking techniques such as Blumlein or M/S.

The pressure-gradient transducer design delivers a flat frequency response, fast transient response, and natural sound imaging — capturing the full acoustic character of the source.

Applications:

• Stereo recording (Blumlein, Mid-Side)

• Duet vocals / interview recording

• Instrument ensembles / room ambiance capture

Important Usage Notes for Gold‑Plated Capsules:

Do not touch the internal diaphragm. Handle only by the metal backplate.

Protect from moisture. When not in use, store the microphone in a sealed container in a relatively dry environment.

A preamp circuit board is required. The capsule needs a polarization voltage between 3V‑70V provided by a preamp board. Connecting it directly without a preamp will produce no sound.
